About Me

I am a rising junior at Design Tech High School.

I care deeply about using science and technology to make healthcare better. I’m also involved in leadership and STEM activities as Co-President of Student Council, Conference Director for Design Tech Model UN, Co-Chair of Girls Who Code, and the Secretary on the City of Redwood City Teen Advisory Board. I’ve presented research at science fairs, presented and published a paper at an IEEE conference, and chaired committees in Model UN. On this website, you’ll be able to see my projects, accomplishments, and interests.

STEM Projects

All of these projects are focused on improving human health.

2026
A Machine Learning-Based Diagnostic Utility for Predicting Ertapenem Resistance in Klebsiella Pneumoniae Using MALDI-TOF MS Spectra

Awards: Selected for Publishing and Presenting, IEEE CCWC (Jan 2026); Qualified to California (State) Science and Engineering Fair; 1st Place Golden Gate STEM Fair
Summary: Built lightweight models using MALDI-TOF MS spectra to predict ertapenem resistance in Klebsiella pneumoniae quickly and accurately. Logistic Regression, MLP, and Random Forest achieved test accuracies of 86%, 84%, and 78%, supporting faster, targeted treatment decisions without slow or expensive genomic workflows.

2025
Genetic and Bioinformatics Analysis of Celecoxib: A CYP2C9-Focused Study

Awards: 3rd Place Alameda County Science and Engineering Fair
Summary: Investigated how CYP2C9*2 and CYP2C9*3 variants affect celecoxib metabolism, highlighting genotype-guided dosing to improve patient safety and outcomes.

2024
Sea to Style: Crafting Sustainable Seaweed Biofabrics

Awards: 2nd Place CSEF, 1st Place SMCOE STEM Fair
Summary: Developed biodegradable seaweed-based fabrics to reduce toxic textile waste and improve environmental and human health impacts from conventional clothing production.

2023
The Shocking Truth About Smartphones and Internet Routers

Awards: Top 300 Thermo Fisher Scientific JIC, 1st Place SMCOE STEM Fair
Summary: Measured electromagnetic radiation from smartphones and routers to support safer device habits and reduce potential health risks.
